Dr Sai Sankar qualified MBBS from the Prestigious University of Madras. He underwent Post Graduate training in General Surgery, Plastic Surgery and orthopaedic Surgery in various hospitals in the United Kingdom and became the Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeon of Glasgow. Then he completed the General Practice training in Chelmsford and had been working as a General Practitioner in Essex since 2000.
His special interests are Diabetic management, Minor surgery and Musculo skeletal disease management.
His other roles are - GP Appraiser and a member of the GP Triage team for the Central Referral Service of MID Essex CCG.
He likes Cricket and a supporter of Chennai Super kings team. He aims to develop his skills in Cooking.
Dr Sai Sankar is currently on long term sick leave as from April 2020.

Dr Shan works on Monday, Tuesday Wednesday, Thursday mornings and all day Fridays.
Healthcare Assistants support Practice Nurses with their daily work and carry out tasks such as phlebotomy (drawing blood), blood pressure measurement and new patient health checks. They may act as a chaperone when a patient or doctor requests one.
The Practice Manager is involved in managing all of the business aspects of the practice such as making sure that the right systems are in place to provide a high quality of patient care, human resources, finance, patient safety, premises and equipment and information technology. The Practice Manager supports the GPs and other medical professionals with delivering patient services and also helps to develop extended services to enhance patient care.
There are three receptionists to make appointments, give results of laboratory tests and dispense medicines.
A health visitor is a registered nurse who has received training particularly related to babies, children and pregnant women. Their role is to provide families with children under five years old with support and advice around the general aspects of mental, physical and social wellbeing. They can be contacted on 01245 225524
